Central Lutheran School is a Caring, Loving, Sharing family of Christians where your child feels safe and secure, while receiving special, individual attention. C.L.S. is a parochial school that was founded in 1952 through an association formed by three Lutheran churches in the New Haven community - Emanuel, St. Paul, and Martini. C.L.S. educates students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. The facilities create an environment which is conducive to learning and a faculty and staff of professionals that are dedicated to the Lord and the attainment of excellence in the classroom.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT: Central Lutheran School operates under the guidance of the Holy Scriptures and the doctrinal confessions of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Our calling is to prepare our students for lifelong learning and joyful service to our Lord through family, school, church, community, and the world, by providing quality education in a Christian environment for the purpose of furthering God's Kingdom. Our staff works together to assist parents in providing students with a thorough understanding of God's Holy Word and the Lutheran Confessions, with opportunities to apply their faith in all aspects of life. We believe each child is a precious gift from God and His unique creation. Central strives to educate the individual students and help him achieve his educational potential.

SCHOOL PURPOSE: The purpose of Central Lutheran School is to prepare it students for efficient and productive service to our Lord through family, school, church, community and country, by providing quality education in a Christian environment. (Matthew 28:18-20)
