WHAT IS SCRIP?
SCRIP is a fundraising program. We purchase gift cards for products and services at a discount and sell them to you for full value. The discount becomes profit for Central Lutheran School and you. 50% of the profit goes to the school and 50% goes to you!
HOW IS THE PROFIT USED BY YOU?

Records are kept throughout the year for each family. Once a year at registration Scrip credits are issued showing the amount of credit that you have earned from purchasing SCRIP. Several options are listed below for you to choose from to indicate where you would like to direct your Scrip credit.
· CLS Tuition
· Credit to another family
· Concordia Lutheran HS tuition
· CLS Building Fund
· Emanuel, Martini, or St. Paul
Anyone including grandparents, friends, neighbors, and even co-workers may purchase gift cards in your name and you will earn Scrip credit from their purchases. The amount of Scrip credit you receive can increase greatly when other Scrip sales are credited to your family’s account. You do not have to have a child at CLS to use Scrip. By using Scrip you help CLS or your church. You may start accumulating credits now for a child who will attend CLS in the future.
HOW IS THE PROFIT USED BY CLS?
CLS’ 50%
The CLS portion of the Scrip profit goes toward the CLS Building Fund as our main goal. We will also support CLS by purchasing small items needed by the teachers throughout the school year. We are happy to announce that Scrip gave $10,000 to the CLS Building Fund for the school year ending 2011. Thank you!
HOW DO I BUY SCRIP?
Scrip may be purchased in the following ways:
· ShopWithScrip: Purchase Scrip online at www.shopwithscrip.com. Contact Brenda for your login and password.
· School Orders: You may come in to school during Scrip hours to make your purchase.
· Kid mail: Send your order with payment to school with your student on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings. The order will be filled and sent home at the end of the school day with the student designated on the order form.
· Sunday Sales: You may purchase Scrip at Emanuel, Martini, or St. Paul Lutheran churches on Sunday mornings.
· Phone Orders: You may call any Scrip representative to place an order.
· 2-hour delays: Scrip will be sold two hours later than normal Scrip hours on mornings when there is a 2-hour delay.

HOW DO I PAY?
Cash & carry style purchasing.
We accept checks or cash at the time you place your order. If you place an order by phone, payment is expected when you pick-up your order. If you place a special order, payment is expected at the time you place your order. To pay when using ShopWithScrip, use PayPal or a check.
WHAT IS A SPECIAL ORDER?
The CLS Scrip program is unique in that we carry a large inventory, making it possible for you to receive the gift cards, in most cases, immediately. However, it is impossible to predict everyone’s needs. Therefore, we encourage you to plan ahead. If you are planning to purchase more than $500 of a certain item, please try to let us know at least one week in advance. We will order that item especially for you, guaranteeing that you receive the entire amount of product you need. Other items are available but not carried in our inventory due to the infrequency that they are ordered. These items are marked (order) on the Scrip order form. Finally, there are many items not listed on our order form because the merchant is not located in the Fort Wayne area. Any of these products can also be purchased with advanced notice. A complete list of certificates that are available can be found at www.glscrip.com or requested from one of the Scrip representatives.
Special orders, with payment, must be received by noon on Sunday and are typically available by Thursday afternoon.
KROGER RELOAD CARDS
Purchase a Kroger reload card and load the card anytime that is convenient for you at any Kroger’s customer service desk or gas station. Kroger reload cards are available at CLS during Scrip hours or by contacting Brenda Carey at 493-7913.
KOHL’S
Kohl’s allows you to pay your charge at the store using Kohl’s gift cards. What could be easier! Shop and then purchase the Scrip gift cards to pay off your bill. Remember when using ShopWithScrip, order Kohl’s (local) to receive the 5% rebate.
LAND’S END
Lands’ End gift certificates are good for purchases at Sears and Kmart as well as any purchases made through the Lands’ End catalog or at LandsEnd.com. The discount offered from Lands’ End varies from 15-17%; much greater than the Sears or Kmart discount. This can make a huge difference when making purchases of major appliances.
RED LOBSTER AND OLIVE GARDEN
These restaurant certificates are available by ordering a Darden’s gift card.
Please note: The order form changes each time we add or lose a retailer. Please make sure you have a fairly current form when placing an order. You can check this by referring to the date located on the lower right hand corner of the Scrip order form.
