Tuition and Fees
In order to physically enroll students into classes, Central Lutheran charges an annual non-refundable registration fee of $100 to all returning and new incoming students. This $100 deposit is applied toward your tuition fee and will guarantee a spot for your child for the upcoming school year.
CLS is a parochial elementary school that was founded in 1952 through an association formed by three Lutheran churches in the New Haven community, Emanuel, St. Paul, and Martini. If you are a member of one of these churches, then you receive member rates. If you are not a member of one of the churches, then the non-member rates will apply to you.

Kindergarten
- Full day - 20% down ($239.20) then $95.68/month; or $1196/year
Grade School
- 1 Student - 20% down ($239.20) then $95.68/month; or $1196/year.
- 2 Students - 20% down ($442.52) then $177.01/month; or $2212.60/year.
- 3 Students - 20% down ($609.96) then $243.98/month; or $3049.80/year.
Non-Member Rates:
Kindergarten
- Full day - 20% down ($640) then $256.00/month; or $3200/year.
Grade School
- 1 Student - 20% down ($640) then $256.00/month; or $3200/year
- 2 Students - 20% down ($1216) then $486.40/month; or $6080/year.
- 3 Students - 20% down ($1728) then $691.20/month; or $8640/year.
*A 5% discount will be given for tuition paid in full by June 1st, 2009.
Additional Fees: To be paid at the time of registration.
- Book Fees - $150.00
- Home Room - $5.00 per student
- Family Fee - $3.00 per family (used for PTL)
- Technology Fees - $50.00
CLS offers nutritional hot lunches prepared on site:
Kindergarten: $35 (for 20 lunches)
Grades 1-8: $40 (for 20 lunches)
Milk Card: $10 (for 20)
